Before & aftercare

before scheduling

  • When I look for inspiration, having 4 or more references really sparks my creativity. Pinterest, Google, DevianArt, and books are great places to find those references.'

  • Choose a specific spot on your body. If you're struggling to decide, start by choosing a general area, like your left leg.

  • My rate is $150 per hour for bigger tattoos, and I usually charge a fixed price for smaller ones. Remember to consider your budget.

  • Remember to rest well, skip alcohol, and have a good meal before our appointment.

Day of your tattoo

  • Must bring your Government issued I.D.

  • Your skin should be healthy before getting a tattoo. Keep it hydrated, moisturized, and protected from the sun. Avoid drinking too much the day before to prevent dehydration, excessive bleeding, and faded ink. Take a shower, exfoliate, and use unscented moisturizer before your appointment. Eat a proper meal to maintain your energy and blood sugar levels.

  • I suggest bringing food, water, energy drinks for blood sugar, and warm clothing like a jacket or blanket because the studio can get cold.

  • I suggest bringing something for entertainment, if you can. For example, you could bring your phone, a movie, a book, or even invite one friend along if you'd like.

after-care

  • After we finish your tattoo, we'll provide you with a protective covering. You can choose between plastic wrap or Recovery skin. Keep plastic wrap on for 1-2 hours. Keep recovery skin on for 3-4 days.

  • When you're ready to take off the bandage, wash your hands using unscented antibacterial soap (like gold dial). Take off the bandage and wash the tattoo with the same soap. Rinse with cool water. Dry using a paper towel to prevent dirt or germs from getting on it.

  • Wash your tattoo 3-4 times a day for the first few days, then switch to an unscented lotion. Apply a lotion like Lubriderm, Aveeno, Cetaphil, or Eucerin with clean hands whenever your tattoo feels dry.

  • Please take care of your tattoo during the first few weeks by avoiding direct sunlight. Water exposure and extended sun exposure can affect the healing of your tattoo. You can still take showers but avoid the beach, pool, and hot tub. If it itches, gently pat the tattoo instead of scratching or picking at it. Let any scabs naturally fall off, refrain from picking at them.
